Jay Jay – aka Rocco
Griffin Pond Animal Shelter – Clarks Summit, PA
Jay Jay is a Pit Bull Terrier mix that is looking for a family to devote himself to with all of his heart. This seven-and-a-half-year-old has been rescued twice and is now seeking his forever home, having been a part of the shelter for 1,455 days. Jay needs some time to get used to those around him, but once he builds trust, he is a real cuddle bug who loves kissing and being pet. He would do best in an adult-only household with few visitors. With the amount of love that he must give, he’d also prefer not to share your attention with other canines or cats. At the top of the list for Jay Jay’s favorite things to do are playing with tennis balls, going for runs, splashing in the water and getting snacks from puzzle toys.

Lily
JR'S Pups N Stuff – Salem Lakes, WI
Meet Lily, a French Bulldog that is the epitome of resilience and joy in a furry package, who arrived 299 days ago! Despite her hind leg paralysis, Lily exudes happiness, friendliness, and curiosity, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loving pup. She's a playful soul who adores spending time with her humans, earning her the title of a loyal "shadow dog." Lily delights in car rides, leisurely walks, cozy beds, and engaging in playful activities like fetch and tug of war. She generally gets along swimmingly with most dogs, but alas, no cats for this charming pooch! Lily's dislikes include being left alone outside, vet visits, and animals running away from her. House training isn't an issue thanks to her trusty diaper, which requires regular changing and assistance with urine expression. Lily's wheelchair grants her mobility on walks, though she needs supervision to avoid mishaps. With her need for frequent baths and vet visits, as well as attentive care for daily tasks like bed assistance, Lily seeks a compassionate and observant caregiver who can provide the love and support she deserves.
