About the Heroic Hearts Collective
Where others look away, rescue organizations see hope. The Heroic Hearts Collective was founded by PetPlace to honor these remarkable groups who dedicate themselves to society’s forgotten animals. Through their stories, we celebrate the profound impact of their everyday heroism.

At PetPlace, we believe in recognizing the extraordinary organizations who go above and beyond to rescue, care for and advocate for animals in need. The Heroic Hearts Collective is your chance to nominate organizations whose passion and dedication have changed the lives of pets and their communities.
Before submitting your nomination, please ensure it meets the following criteria:
- Open to registered 501(c)(3) animal rescues or equivalent organizations in the United States.
- Rescues must have been operational for at least one year.
- Nominations are welcome from anyone, including self-nominations or submissions by supporters (volunteers, adopters, donors, etc.).
If your nominee meets these requirements, we want to hear their story!
